First Response

In the event of a biothreat, or when a suspicious substance is discovered that could potentially be a deadly bioagent, first responders are called to assess the situation, mitigate the risk to the public and assist in securing the contaminated site.

Rapid on-site detection of the suspicious substance is critical in immediately confirming the presence of a deadly pathogen. First responders save precious time and resources by utilizing portable detection devices to make an immediate assessment of the situation without having to transport the bioagent in question to an off-site laboratory.
